This week’s Top 10 Tuesday is a freebie so I’ve decided to do a theme from a few weeks ago that I missed. It was interesting to look at which authors I’ve read the most books by. I don’t seem to be very good at finishing series, so even though there are some authors I have loved, I’ve not read many of their books!
Top 10 Tuesday was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish, but has now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. If you’re interested in taking part click here.

Cassandra Clare (10)
Sarah J. Maas (7)
Anthony Horowitz (7)
Michael Grant (5)
Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman (5)
Rick Riordan (5)
Patricia A McKillip (5)
Lauren Oliver (4)
Suzanne Collins (4)
Leigh Bardugo (4)

It’s really not a surprise that Cassandra Clare is top of this list! I’ve been reading her books for a long time and she has written so many of them! I was surprised however how many Sarah J Maas books I’ve read even though I only started reading her books a couple of years ago. It tends to take me quite a while to get through series as I don’t usually like reading them one after another, so I’m amazed I’ve read so many already.
Which authors have you read the most books by? Let me know in the comments!
I love Suzanne Collins stories.
My TTT .
They are great! I would happily read more from the world of The Hunger Games too.
You must really like Cassandra Clare. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/07/ttt-072820.html
Haha I do! I actually couldn’t believe how many of her books I had read though because 10 sounds like so many!
I’ve read a lot from Clare and Riordan as well. Thanks for sharing! :)
Lauren @ Always Me
Their books are so good! :)
I really need to read Sarah J. Mass’ work sometime.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I would recommend her books, I loved them!
This was indeed so interesting! Clare, Riordan and Bardugo were also on my list!
My post!
They are great authors, plus they’ve written a lot of books!
You’ve read some great authors!
Yes I’ve enjoyed reading their books!
Mine would be Neil Gaiman 😀
Here’s my TTT if you want to have a look!! https://readwithstefani.com/10-books-i-want-to-read-by-the-end-of-2020/
Neil Gaiman is great. I’ve only read two of his books so far though.
I think I’ve read 5 Rick Riordan books too. I really liked them, so I’m not sure why I haven’t read more.
I read the Percy Jackson series years ago but haven’t read any more even though I really liked them as well!
YES! Love this topic, even though I’ve only read 2 books (Gone and The Hunger Games) out of all the books by all these authors. It’s just so cool to see people discover things about their reading patterns. Now for the tough question: do you have a *favorite* Cassandra Clare book??
My top author is Lynn Hall — I did the topic here.
Oh my gosh I don’t know if I could choose a favourite Cassandra Clare book! It’s been a really long time since I read some of them so I can’t remember them that well, I think I’d need to read them again to decide on a favourite. I think my favourite series of hers (so far) would be The Mortal Instruments.
