I started this blog back in 2012 because I love reading and writing and wanted to share my passion for books with other like-minded people. Being part of the book blogging community is wonderful!

I graduated with a degree in English Literature with Creative Writing in 2017, and I’m currently working in marketing for a local council, marketing the town’s museums, parks and theatres.

Reading and writing provide an escape from reality. When I’m absorbed in a good book, I can forget about anything troubling me and be transported to another place. Fantasy and science fiction are my favourite genres and I love discovering new worlds.

Writing has been a very important part of my life for more than 10 years. I finished my first novel in January 2014 and have now completed six novels and one novella in total. It’s my dream to be an author and I hope to start sending out one of my books to literary agents in the next year or so.

My other interests include photography and art. Other fun facts: I’m a cat person and I have a sweet tooth (I rarely say no to a pudding).
