I started this blog all the way back in 2012 because I wanted to share my passion for books with other like-minded people. Being part of the book blogging community for so many years has been a wonderful experience.

I graduated with a degree in English Literature with Creative Writing in 2017, and I’m currently working for a local council, marketing the town’s museums, sports centres and events.

Reading and writing provide an escape from reality. When I’m absorbed in a good book, I can forget about anything troubling me and be transported to another place. Fantasy and science fiction are my favourite genres and I love discovering new worlds.

Writing has been a very important part of my life for more than 15 years. I finished my first novel in January 2014 and have now completed six novels and one novella in total. It’s my dream to be an author and I hope to finally send out one of my books to literary agents once I’ve completed a revised and revamped version.

My other interests include photography and art. Other fun facts: I’m a cat person and I have a sweet tooth (I rarely say no to a pudding).
