Somehow, we are already half way through the year and it’s the time to look ahead to all the exciting releases coming out in the second half of the year. Here are 10 that I am looking forward to!

I read a lot of SFF but I read Lily Chu’s The Stand-In earlier this year and absolutely adored it, so I’m looking forward to her next novel.

The idea of a cursed storm sounds incredibly intriguing so I’m curious to read this one.

The Drowned Woods by Emily Lloyd-Jones

The Drowned Woods—set in the same world as The Bone Houses but with a whole new, unforgettable cast of characters—is part heist novel, part dark fairy tale.

The Bone Houses was a fantastic read and Emily Llyod-Jones’ next book is set in the same world, so I’m looking forward to reading this one.

Gideon the Ninth became and instant favourite of mine when I read it last year. I haven’t read the sequel yet, so I need to catch up before Nona releases later this year.

I haven’t read any of this author’s other works but when I saw the title and description, I was instantly intrigued.

I’m always on the lookout for books by disabled authors and this novel with a Deaf protagonist sounds fantastic.
